If I could hazard a guess, you have landed on this website because you enjoy beer, more specifically, you enjoy craft beer, so welcome!

Some years ago, I started planning my travels around finding local microbreweries. In some cases, the microbreweries were rather off the tourist zone, located in places with minimal English comprehension. While experiencing some trepidation, I decided it might be a fun/challenging experience to seek them out. Other microbreweries were located in easy to reach places where language challenges were not an issue. It turned out, no matter where I travelled, once people who worked in these microbreweries learnt that I had made an effort to travel to their place to try their unique take on craft beer, the result has always been a robust welcome.

Friends and colleagues have been asking me for some time to put my craft beer travel experiences online so that they might be able to use my legwork to incorporate some of the microbreweries into their own travels.

Thus, I hope you find some of my ramblings helpful while planning your own craft beer travels to exotic locations.
